The Board of the Alabama Emmaus Community recommended several changes which affect the election/selection of members of the Alabama Emmaus Community Board of Directors, along with changes in team selection and serving on teams

Each cluster is paired with at least one or more cluster for the purpose of the Board of Directors, team selection and serving on a team.

There are now 8 cluster groupings in the Community

Below is a summary of the changes affecting all clusters

Board Directors

Two members from each of the 8 cluster groupings will serve a two year term.

 Team Selection

Each cluster grouping will have two members from each cluster to serve as team selection for a Walk within the cluster grouping

Serving on a Team
The Board of Directors has recommended that a member serving on a team will have attended at least 3 follow-up meetings within 12 months prior to the Walk.

The Birmingham South Cluster is now paired with the Birmingham East Cluster and the South Shelby Clusters. We will have two walks this year led by the Holy Spirit and members of one of these clusters
